REGISTRATION

Full access to the event including:

  • Opening and Closing Ceremony
  • 4 academic days with 60+ inspirational speakers, workshops, field trips and competitions
  • Day catering during the academic program
  • Tradeshow and Careers Expo
  • Sports Day featuring an intervarsity sports competition and the Emergency Medical Challenge
  • 4 themed Social Nights
  • Gala Ball including a 3 course meal and drinks package
  • 6 nights’ accommodation at one of three 4-star hotels: RACV/RACT Apartment Hotel, Ibis Styles Hotel, and Travelodge Hotel.
  • Dinner for each night is included
  • Transport to and from social nights and sports day will be provided as necessary.

At this stage, we are not offering partial registration.

There are several extras available on the registration platform: the official HB19 T-shirt, a mystery item (what could it be?) and a ticket to the inaugural AMSA National Convention Charity Wine Tour (tickets are limited – be quick!). Make sure you know what you would like to purchase at the time of registration – this cannot be changed after you have clicked ‘purchase’.

There is no beverage package available this year. Here at HB19 we are committed to creating social events that are inclusive for all delegates. Our focus is on designing a program that features entertainment and activities to create a fun and safe environment for all. But don’t fret, we have also secured great drink deals for those who do want to drink!

REGISTRATION PROCESS

You will need your personal details handy, but most importantly we need your:

  1. Your university email address
  2. AMSA membership number (http://amsa.org.au/join)
  3. Credit card details

This error message will be present until 9pm AEDT when registration officially opens! Just be patient and remember to refresh the webpage at 9pm on the dot.

Please contact rego@hobart2019.com.au, we will be available on registration night and get back to you ASAP.

You will receive a confirmation of your purchase to your university email address. It’s always a good idea to screenshot the confirmation screen on the registration platform too. You will not have to bring your confirmation email to redeem your wristband at the event.

There is sometimes a delay in receiving a confirmation email from the registration platform. If you have not received confirmation within 24 hours, please contact rego@hobart2019.com.au.

When tickets sell out, you will be added to the waitlist. Any tickets that become available will be preferentially given to those on the waitlist.

Anyone who registered prior to this year should have recently received an email reminding them of their membership number. Search your inbox including Spam and Junk folders. Try searching noreply@amsa.org.au or memberservices@ama.com.au. There has been a delay with AMSA membership numbers this year – if you registered this year and can’t find your number, use 999999 and we will follow up from our end.

Yes, you can access the registration platform from your phone.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

Yes. You must have started a medical degree, and not yet graduated from that degree. Those doing honours/research years are welcome too!

Yes. You must be 18+ to attend AMSA National Convention Hobart 2019.

AFTER REGISTRATION

You can not change your details on the registration platform once you have clicked ‘purchase’. PLEASE make sure you put your details in correctly. This is the only chance to enter things like dietary requirements. In extenuating circumstances, please contact rego@hobart2019.com.au.

No. Tickets to AMSA events are non-refundable as per our Event Terms and Conditions (the box you clicked at registration). Contact rego@hobart2019.com.au if you believe there are extenuating circumstances.

Yes, but this option will no longer be available closer to the event. Contact rego@hobart2019.com.au AND your AMSA Rep if you wish to transfer.
